As our business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Business Development and Partnerships Manager to support our commercial growth strategy, strengthen our market presence and develop long-term client relationships across the logistics, transportation and removals sectors.

Role Purpose

The Business Development and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing commercial contracts, developing strategic partnerships and increasing revenue across the company's logistics operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's customer base, strengthening client retention and supporting the long-term commercial growth of Caesario Logistics Limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.

• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across courier services, same-day deliveries, removals, airport transfers and nationwide transportation services.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of commercial opportunities and prospective clients.

• Establish and develop relationships with estate agents, housing associations, relocation companies, local authorities, facilities management companies, construction firms, retailers and commercial organisations.

• Generate new business through networking, client meetings, referrals, digital marketing initiatives and direct business development activities.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and service agreements for prospective clients.

• Negotiate commercial contracts, pricing structures and service agreements with customers and business partners.

• Manage and develop key customer accounts to maximise customer retention, repeat business and long-term contract opportunities.

• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through additional logistics and transportation services.

• Develop strategic partnerships with organisations that require regular logistics, removals and transportation support.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the UK logistics and transportation sectors.

• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

• Prepare monthly reports on sales activity, customer acquisition, business opportunities, conversion rates and revenue performance.

• Contribute to annual business planning, growth initiatives and commercial performance targets.

• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, trade exhibitions and business meetings.

• Support the development of the company's brand presence and market reputation within the logistics sector.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commercial Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum three years' experience in business development, sales, account management, commercial operations or partnership development.

• Proven experience identifying and securing new business opportunities.

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer relationship management.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and business partners.

• Strong organisational, planning and reporting skills.

• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within logistics, transportation, removals, courier services or related industries.

• Experience managing commercial contracts and key client accounts.

• Knowledge of the UK logistics, courier and transportation market.

• Full UK driving licence.
